The Before Photos
Ahhh yes, absolutely horrible lol. So glad we are in a better place. Let's review the plan…
The Garage Makeover Plan
Before getting started, I had to get a visual of what my plan was going to be.
This is one of the most pivotal steps in my opinion for any room makeover because it allows you to vet what's going to work and what isn't without a lot of guessing.
Now for the reveal of the garage makeover… part one…
The Garage Makeover Reveal… part one
It may not seem like much, but man oh man, this was quite the undertaking.
From painting the whole room to adding the garage accent tool wall to installing the sturdy garage shelves to securing the slat wall, phew!
The best part is all the organizational stuff is complete minus one important coming soon element… the electronic garage hoist.
I desperately wanted the garage hoist to be ready for the makeover reveal today, but time got away from me and I should have an update on that in the next few weeks.
The reason I don't have the third bay revealed in this photo is because I have those items that are going on the garage hoist sitting over there… whomp whomp.
But I will tell you, once those things are up and I get the bikes up, the third bay will be ready to get my mobile work station up and running.
The flooring is another item on the soon-to-get-done agenda because after adding all this gorgeous organization, the floor sticks out even worse than it did before.
I have some painting I want to add in too with the sprinkler post under the TV to match the wall and the entry door into the house and a few other accents in the fishing nook area.
The fishing nook area is also on the agenda as well as updating the lighting in there.
Hoping to have phase two of this garage makeover complete before the end of the year, but of course with the holidays looming, I'll have to temper my gusto and keep my head above water.
Here's a full list of what's coming for part two of the garage makeover.
Be sure to join the VIP squad below so you don't miss anything… it's going to be soooo good when it is complete.
