Modern Vintage Front Entryway: Before & After
Looking to get inspired to create a modern vintage entryway? Check out the transformation of our front entryway into a modern vintage beauty.
For the last couple of weeks, I've been sharing tutorials on how I created a gallery wall on the stairs of our front entryway.
So, today I wanted to give you the full view of the entryway in all of its modern vintage goodness.
We absolutely love to incorporate old, vintage antique pieces into our home to bring character and our personality to life.
I can't wait to show you how we went from totally plain, drab, 90s entry to a modern vintage beauty that belongs in the 21st century.

So this above picture was from the previous owners.
As you can tell, very 90s. They were also very big IU fans because the whole house had crimson and cream paint. Good times.
I'm all for white, but after de-redifying this house when we moved in, red now only comes back in small doses.
This picture is the before picture up the stairwell in the front entry.
I'm sad that I don't have a before picture of the previous light fixture.
I'm sure you know exactly which one it was… shiny brassy gold with candelabra bulbs.
Very hip and chic in the 90s.
We swapped out this one and the one in the dining room at the same time as part of operation de-brass our home.
A million times better, if I do say so myself 😉

SPRING/SUMMER TABLE
Fall TABLE
I tried to give all the views, but what do you think?
This is one of my favorite areas of our home because it really combines that modern look I want with some vintage pieces, such as the marble table above.
This marble table has a cool story.
My parents were big into antique shopping in their early adult life and they found this beauty for about $400 back int he 80s.
It has a real marble slab and the woodworking on it is amazing, so I'm sure that was a steal back in the day.
Since my mom lives in the Cayman Islands and my dad had no room for it, they gave it to me as a housewarming present.
It fits perfectly in the little nook of our entryway.
Because it's the perfect size, I find it the best place to change out my seasonal decor to greet guests when they walk in.
The picture above on the left is my spring/summer table and the picture above on the right is my fall table.
