Baby Girl Nursery Mood Board + Before Photos
Operation: Nursery is in full effect! Today, I'm sharing with you my plans for this baby girl nursery along with the before photos. Over the next month, I'll be making sure this room is ready to rock.
T-Minus 58 days until Baby Girl Ciz arrives!
I'm definitely anxious to finish this room, but more anxious because I really can't wait to meet this little babe!
What will she look like? What kind of personality will she have? Will she be a daddy's girl or love on her momma?
So many questions, but I'm feeling somewhat prepared and ready to check off some to-do list items.
Today I'm sharing with you the before photos and my plans for our girl's nursery.
This room has laid empty for the four years we have lived here.
It has doubled as an extra room to put a blowup bed when we have extra guests as well as my dad's room when he stayed here for a few months.
It is currently cleaned out and ready to be revived into a comforting space for our little one.
Check out what we are working!

I have done extensive research on the look and feel I wanted for this room.
My husband was adamant that the room have a very whimsical vibe, so our theme is safari animals.
I fell in love with all these baby animal photos and decals! Those sweet faces!
I also researched a lot about what parent's need at various stations in the room to make life as easy as possible.
I definitely want the room to be practical and have the things we need readily available without sacrificing the whimsical feel.
I know I haven't thought of everything yet, but this is the preliminary sketch of the vibe I'm hoping to get out of this room.
I found these awesome removable fabric wall decals on Etsy (see link below) and I had to have them.
I love that they aren't permanent, but add some pizzazz to the accent wall.
The bookshelves will come unstained and I am going to paint them to match the wall to tie in some of the green in various spots of the room.
We purchased the furniture, but are still waiting for it to come in before I can really finish all the details in here.
The dresser above will act as our changing table.
I registered for this changer top because it was recommended to me by a couple of friends because it is easy to clean up without needing a lot of excess piddle pads.
I'm not sure exactly how I am going to organize the diaper station just yet, but once I get this stuff in there and figure it out, I will definitely share!
You can find links to everything you see in the mood board below, but before you go, drop me a comment and let me know if there is any words of wisdom I need to make this fully functional, I am all ears!
