What’s New at Casa de Ciz
We were drowning in papers over here, so I decided to use my new shredder to clean it all up, which led to a fantastic project to hide this beast of a machine in something pretty.
You can check out the full tutorial and video of how I made my DIY end table from just some pieces of wood.
I’ve also been sharing all about my throw pillow obsession, including how to mix and match throw pillow patterns and how to choose the right throw pillow sizes for your couch… plus my favorite places to buy my throw pillows.
In the midst of my pillow frenzy, I did manage to update my home for Spring and reveal the DIY reading nook that we have been using like crazy!
It has been a full month for sure!
The best part is little miss thang is turning one in a few days! I can’t even believe it. Time has flown, yet I feel like wow, she’s already one, but wow she’s only one lol.
I’ve got plans to make some balloon garland and have a portal smash cake party for all our family. Should be a good time! Can’t wait to see what she’s like all hopped up on the sugar lol.

I am currently ridiculously obsessed with this patio egg chair from Target…. like seriously.
I have already taken a nap outside in it, hung out with Chris side by side while watching March Madness, and snuggled the dog on numerous occasions.
Every time is better than the last. I wish I had room for a second one in my house because it is so awesome.
